Lisa Maahs Regional Director (Northcentral) - Leadership
Lisa Maahs began her career in Interior Architecture after earning her degree, spending several years working in Chicago, Illinois. In the late 1990s, Lisa relocated to Wausau, Wisconsin, where she and her spouse raised three children. She paused her professional journey to focus on her family, returning to the workforce part-time in 2013 as a Junior Achievement Elementary Education Manager and later transitioned into the role of Events and Satellite Manager. In 2024, she was promoted to Associate Director. In August 2025, she assumed the position of Regional Director. In this capacity, Lisa oversees a team of seven, directs local fundraising efforts, manages events, and supervises educational programs across Marathon, Portage, and Wood counties, as well as satellite locations in Minocqua, Rhinelander, and Merrill.
Beyond her professional achievements, Lisa enjoys traveling with her family to national parks, skiing in the western United States, and spending quality time at their cabin in Eagle River. A passionate outdoor enthusiast, she delights in running, road biking, hiking, and taking walks with their two Labradors.
